Complexive is the alias of Mitchell Guzick, a producer and musician based in Los Angeles, CA. 

The Complexive project was born in 2017 and has been his primary outlet for creative expression.

In 2018, he released his first EP “Times Up” with Night Owl Collective where he got his first small taste of recognition by landing a song on the Jazztronica playlist by Spotify. 

In 2019 he dropped his first album “Definition” independently. By 2020 the creators of DEEMO reached out to have Complexive create three songs for their new rhythm game “DEEMO II”.

His sophomore album “PIXEL SKIES” dropped in February of 2023. Shortly after that release he experienced his first viral success on TikTok by playing a preview of “Paft Dunk” the fist song in the EPK playlist. That video took his following from 200 to over 13,000 in the span of about two weeks.

Complexive's sound is often described as 'complex,' as he expertly blends genres, injecting influences from jazz, funk and gospel into the world of EDM. Mitchell has been a keyboard player in the gospel and church scene for nearly 8 years, giving him invaluable keyboard experience most electronic musicians typically don’t have the privilege of getting. That experience has poured over into the Complexive project, helping develop a captivating performance and production style that resonates with audiences around the globe. His music has often been compared to the likes of Anomalie, Haywyre, and Casiopea.

His live performances are renowned for the mesmerizing synth solos and piano improvisation throughout his sets. His goal is to reach and inspire as many people as possible with his music whether it be through live shows or internet discovery.
